Terms of Service

The basics

TipTracker is a tip tracking tool. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

Your account

You sign in with Google. You're responsible for keeping your Google account secure. One account per person — don't share accounts.

Your data

You own your tip data. We store it to provide the service. You can export it anytime (CSV) and request deletion anytime. See our Privacy Policy for details.

What you can do

• Use TipTracker to track your personal tip income
• Export your data for personal or tax purposes
• Use the free features without any time limit

What you can't do

• Use the service for illegal purposes
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Abuse the API or try to overload our servers
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent limits
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute our content

Free tier

The free tier of TipTracker includes tip logging, daily/weekly/monthly totals, hourly rate calculation, and data export. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future, but free features will remain free. We will never put previously-free features behind a paywall.

Service availability

We aim to keep TipTracker available 24/7, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. We may need to take the service down for maintenance. We'll try to give notice when possible.

Accuracy

TipTracker calculates totals and rates based on the data you enter. We don't verify the accuracy of your entries. The tax estimation feature provides rough estimates only — it is not tax advice. Consult a tax professional for actual tax obligations.

Limitation of liability

TipTracker is provided "as is" without warranties. We're not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to data loss, inaccurate calculations, or service interruptions.

Termination

You can stop using TipTracker anytime. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we terminate your account, we'll delete your data within 30 days.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms. We'll update the date at the top when terms change.

Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved in the jurisdiction where TipTracker operates.
